Job Title: Network Systems Engineer

PJ Networks LLC is seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining the integrity of our clients' business networks, including network security for hardware and software.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions for clients
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
  • Ensure network security and integrity through regular monitoring and maintenance
  • Collaborate with our RMM and help desk staff to provide award-winning service to our clients
  • Develop and maintain great relationships with our clients through excellent communication and client management skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Systems Engineer or Network Administrator
  • Previous consulting or MSP experience is highly desirable
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 with current Microsoft certifications or willingness to commit to obtaining one or more certification within one year of hire
  • Experience with desktop/laptop computer support, including familiarity with all versions of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 tenants and services, and all supported versions of Microsoft Office, including Office 365
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls and switches, including setup of VLANs, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, etc.
  • Experience with data backup and disaster recovery software
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, VMWare, Linux, VOIP phone systems, and Cisco hardware is a plus, but not required
