Position Summary:

The role involves establishing and nurturing partnerships within a specified geographic area to educate potential collaborators about the financial benefits of participating in our clothing drive and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.

  • Create prospect lists and build relationships with schools, churches, parent-teacher organizations, sports teams, and other community groups.
  • Achieve targets and objectives set by the Fundraising Director.
  • Inform and educate groups about the clothing drive initiative, recycling efforts, and sustainability practices.
  • Organize fundraising events and celebrate the successes of partners.
  • Collaborate with local educational institutions, religious organizations, and non-profits to establish partnerships.
  • Deliver presentations at meetings of booster clubs, parent-teacher organizations, schools, and community groups.
  • Document daily activities and confirmed drives in the CRM system, coordinating with the drive team to ensure successful execution.
  • Maintain a target of 75-100 contacts weekly through various communication methods.
  • Achieve an average of 16 new drives per month after a training period.
  • Submit weekly expense reports and mileage to the Sales Director for reimbursement.
  • Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings with the Sales Director.
  • Update clients on the total weight collected during drives and present checks in person when possible.
  • Provide marketing materials, signage, and promotional items to drive organizers and ensure their return post-event.
  • Assist drive organizers with advertising efforts across various platforms to ensure successful drives.
  • Conduct outreach to solicit clothing drives in the designated territory using demographic data.
  • Follow up with drive organizers prior to events to confirm all necessary arrangements are in place.
  • Prepare weekly reports for the Sales Director and ensure all activities are recorded in the CRM.
  • Encourage clients to connect with our social media platforms and provide feedback on their drives.
  • Travel within the designated market area is required, with occasional travel outside the market as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Experience in fundraising or sales is advantageous.
  • Background in non-profit organizations, booster clubs, or parent-teacher associations is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
