**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Goldfish Swim School location. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Direct and control daily operations to ensure our school is running according to Goldfish Swim School standard operating procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate our staff to achieve high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers, Deck Supervisors, and Golden Teachers to resolve issues related to class scheduling, student progress, and employee performance.
  • Sales and Marketing: Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff and direction in the retail and vending departments.
  • Private Party Operations: Train and oversee private party staff to ensure adherence to Goldfish Swim School standard operating procedures.
  • Technology and Safety: Gain knowledge and experience in all technology platforms and safety procedures to ensure a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Employee Engagement: Initiate and oversee workplace culture and employee interaction, maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: Two or more years of management experience preferred; two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.
  • Certifications: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and first aid certification required; shallow water attendant highly recommended.

Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity; noise level is usually moderate.
