Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist II role at Roush Enterprises is a key position that ensures accurate accounting records for receipts and disbursements. This role will perform a variety of clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process 3-way, 2-way, and non-purchase order invoices, including accounting distribution and sales/use tax verification of data.
  • Execute backup support for weekly check, ACH, and VCN payments.
  • Obtain proper approval to pay for items 2-way and non-PO.
  • Perform supplier maintenance duties, including electronic payment setup, verifying financial data, and ensuring required documents are submitted/required for active suppliers.
  • Resolve open issues with internal staff and external suppliers to ensure validity of invoice processing.
  • Evaluate monthly statements and is responsible for keeping supplier accounts current, owning the vendor from beginning to end.
  • Handle supplier inquiries and discrepancies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Works independently with minimal oversight.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
