ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Specialist to support our critical Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) program for the Air Combat Command team.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to national security by providing technical expertise and guidance on IBS broadcast, hardware, and software systems. You will work closely with Air Force personnel and stakeholders to ensure seamless data dissemination and communication across various platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth technical support for IBS, encompassing broadcast operations, hardware configurations, and software applications.
  • Collaborate with Air Force units to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable plans for the Joint IBS Community.
  • Assist in synchronizing current and future IBS Enterprise requirements across various levels of command.
  • Offer technical assistance to System Program Offices (SPOs) during IBS terminal integration processes.
  • Develop comprehensive IBS inputs for critical operational documents, including Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Information Support Plans (ISPs), and CDDs.
  • Participate actively in technical meetings, integrated logistics support sessions, and program reviews.
  • Analyze hardware requirements and coordinate with SPO operating commands to ensure seamless integration and funding availability.
  • Advocate for funding, procurement, testing, and fielding of IBS technology upgrades and insertions.
  • Manage the operational status of hardware assets, coordinating with depots and users for efficient shipment and return of COMSEC Controlled Items (CCI).
  • Identify and validate software application requirements for Air Force and Joint IBS users.
  • Support configuration management processes for IBS software applications and coordinate approved changes to baselines.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for over 2,000+ IBS users, encompassing both general knowledge and specific technical aspects of the system.
  • Assist in developing program documentation, including POM justifications, briefings, submissions, and evaluations of initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Information Technology within the Intelligence Community or similar systems.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as an action officer.
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting data dissemination architectures, including UHF, Alternate Over-The-Air (OTA) paths, SIPRNET, and JWICS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IBS hardware and software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
