Job Overview

Encorus Group is actively seeking a dedicated Mechanical Integrity Inspector to enhance our operations. This role focuses on the thorough examination, testing, and assessment of client equipment to confirm its safety and operational efficiency according to its designed specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field inspections and testing services for fixed equipment, including but not limited to API-510 Pressure Vessels, API-570 Process Piping, and API-653 / STI SP001 Storage Tanks.
  • Identify, comprehend, and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations relevant to the equipment under evaluation.
  • Engage with clients to discuss project initiation, timelines, equipment requirements, and inspection outcomes.
  • Interpret Process and Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) accurately.
  • Create precise isometric drawings of piping and equipment utilizing AutoCAD software.
  • Execute non-destructive testing using certified methodologies.
  • Employ software tools (UltraPipe, Excel) and applicable standards to evaluate the fitness for service and remaining lifespan of inspected equipment.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance on designated testing apparatus, such as ultrasonic devices and air monitoring systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Inspection/NDE or a related discipline.
  • Possession of at least one certification from the following: API Certification, AWS CWI, MT/PT/UT/UTT/ET Level II Qualification.
  • High School Diploma is mandatory; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred.
  • Capability to maintain current inspection/NDE certifications as required by the organization.
  • Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle for field evaluations and inspections.
  • Ability to successfully complete a drug screening and vision assessment.
  • Capacity to wear a respirator and other necessary PPE.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • API 510/570/653 & NDE certifications.
