Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care and participating in policy and procedure implementations related to medical services for nursing staff. This role will involve evaluating patient health care needs, obtaining input from providers as needed, and documenting patient information accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patient health care needs based on signs and symptoms, utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
- Obtain input and direction from providers as needed to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for patient care
- Accurately document patient symptoms, nursing assessment, advice provided, and patient response, following policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness
- Experience as a Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited nursing program
- Current New Jersey certification as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting
- Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial
