Unit Coordinator-Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unit Coordinator-Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our nursing unit, you will provide administrative support, facilitate patient care, and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the nursing team, including order entry, processing, and coordination.
- Assist with patient care, including bathing, feeding, and providing emotional support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on various health topics and disease management.
- Assist with patient transportation and mobility, including wheelchair and stretcher use.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team and management.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing unit.
