Job Description

This is a key software engineering role that will be responsible for supporting CAIRE, Inc. manufacturing by managing and supporting all lifecycle phases of various manufacturing software systems, and by supporting data analysis efforts for multiple teams within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, document, validate, deploy, monitor, and maintain in-house manufacturing software systems.
  • Comply with processes laid out by our Quality Management System to validate software system usage and produce compliant documentation.
  • Deploy and maintain software development infrastructure, including VCS, CI/CD, and DevOps.
  • Support investigative projects by leveraging software systems and collected data.
  • Propose and initiate changes to existing applications and new ones to benefit manufacturing processes and operational teams.

Technical Requirements:

  • Programming skills in Java, Python, and TSQL, with some exposure to C#, Lua, YAML, JSON, PHP, and C/C++.
  • Familiarity with front-end web development frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Version control and issue tracking using Git and GitHub.
  • Linux shell usage and Linux system administration.
  • Exposure to hardware communication protocols, such as I2C and Serial.
  • Familiarity with Docker and related technologies.
  • Designing unit, integration, and acceptance test criteria and executing them.
  • Requirements engineering involving diverse teams.
  • Administration of relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
