Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at My Georgia Plumber. In this role, you will manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing, payment receipt, and financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify incoming payments, reconciling them with the general ledger.
  • Prepare, distribute, and submit invoices to customers, both manually and through customer portals.
  • Ensure timely payments by tracking outstanding invoices and performing collections activities when required.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
  • Use customer portals to manage billing and track invoice statuses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data.
  • Assist in monthly closings and financial statement preparation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial documents.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Experience with Service Titan software is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with customer portal invoicing and billing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, reliable transportation.
