Market Segment Manager - Defense Electronics

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Market Segment Manager to lead our Defense Electronics business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the business strategy for this critical market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the Defense Electronics market, aligned with our overall strategic growth objectives.
  • Drive compliance with our strategic marketing process for the Defense and Aerospace segment.
  • Define and prioritize the solution roadmap for the segment, including product mix and positioning strategy.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and industry experts to enhance our competitive position.
  • Develop customer-focused acquisition strategies based on our ACS Right to Win framework.
  • Collect and analyze competitive intelligence, identifying new competitors and market trends.
  • Consult on pricing strategy for key customers in the segment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Marketing with experience marketing technical products.
  • 7-10 years of product marketing experience in the aerospace and defense industry, or a combination of product marketing and technical sales experience.
  • Significant global experience in business development roles.
  • Proven track record of leading effective teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense Market and key members of the value chain.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct managerial authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Marketing Concentration.
