About the Role

The Richmond SPCA is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Client Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful relationships with community members and pets in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Schedule appointments, manage appointment flow, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Animal Care: Comfortably handle and care for dogs and cats, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter data into patient charts, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle money and complete payment transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Training and Development: Participate in all required trainings and meetings, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in daily routine, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • High-Volume Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, maintaining a positive attitude and composure under pressure.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess reliable transportation, including during inclement weather.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability: Be available to work early morning and evening shifts, including weekdays.
