The World Bank Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its Treasury and Mobilization team as an Adviser to the Vice President. Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily workflow for the Vice President, ensuring uninterrupted visibility and follow-through on actions, decisions, and commitments.
- Aid the Vice President on matters relating to the functioning of the Treasury and Mobilization team, including setting objectives and strategy, budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Represent the Treasury and Mobilization team as needed in ad-hoc working groups and task forces.
- Participate in the team's Senior Leadership and Leadership Teams, and nurture relationships with staff to stay abreast of relevant business and HR matters.
- Work with the Corporate Secretariat on corporate, policy, and Board matters.
- Coordinate and synthesize inputs from departments on issues requiring team-level responses.
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and internal and external presentations.
- Assist with the planning of knowledge forums.
- Work closely with communication leads to manage the Vice President's external program and media engagements.
- Liaise with Management Teams, the MD/CFO's Office, and counterparts in IBRD/IDA.
- Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of the World Bank Group's balance sheet, business model, and key business lines.
- Experience working with the World Bank Group or in capital market operations or private sector mobilization would be a plus.
- Commitment to the World Bank Group's and IFC's mission, strategy, and values.
- Flawless integrity and highest ethical standards.
- Demonstrated team work, people management skills, and client orientation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work with very short deadlines.
