**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with neurological, sensorimotor, musculoskeletal disorders/delays, complex medical conditions, and trauma using a family-centered approach.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with age-appropriate, functional, and measurable goals, utilizing a variety of modalities including exercise, neuromuscular re-education, mobilization, heat/cold, taping, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Joint Commission, state/federal guidelines, and participate in Total Quality Management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and hospital personnel to ensure seamless patient care and provide education on maximizing function within the home/community.
  • Supervise and direct assistive personnel, including physical therapist assistants, rehab technicians, and students, providing input into their performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Arizona
  • 2+ years of experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting
