Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Shift Leader at Dogtopia. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dog daycare and sales services.

Responsibilities
  • Create effective daily room schedules to ensure the well-being and safety of our canine guests.
  • Manage confidential information, including health and behavioral notes, and communicate with both shifts.
  • Prepare lunches, feedings, medications, and special needs lists based on parent requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality in Dogtopia practices and all aspects of the business.
  • Proficient in POS software and responsible for checking in and out of daycare dogs, checking spa services, and completing payment transactions.
  • Conduct evening closing procedures, including transaction totals and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing the 3 S system consistently with customers.
  • Effectively communicate health and behavior concerns with customers in a professional manner.
  • Participate in training opportunities for the team and actively communicate team developmental needs and issues with management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in POS software and basic computer skills.
