About the Role

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled Shipside Operations Specialist to join our team in Berkeley, MO. As a key member of our Paint Operations team within Air Dominance, you will play a critical role in aligning the Operations Team with Program Leadership, customer counterparts, and cross-functional partners to remove roadblocks and stabilize operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize technical knowledge and process flow expertise to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organizations.
  • Conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria, analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
  • Provide feedback on assessment results and assist organizations in identifying recurring and high-impact issues.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning to address recurring and high-impact issues.
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items, providing guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment.
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and managing projects.
  • Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military.
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT).
