Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering tasks utilizing established techniques and criteria.
  • Engage in problem-solving and apply sound judgment in project execution.
  • Lead design initiatives and collaborate with project managers to develop technical work plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering documents, including Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E).
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Review and assess designs, plans, and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Provide on-site construction services, including inspections and investigations.
  • Utilize software tools such as STAAD.Pro, MathCad, and AutoCAD for structural analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, ASTM, and ACI.
  • Coordinate effectively with various engineering disciplines and client representatives.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance professional development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural projects.

Desired:

  • Experience in nuclear engineering applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate project milestones.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and standards.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred.
