Job Overview
The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting residents in making the transition to our luxury assisted living community. You will help plan and coordinate recreational programs for our residents, including those with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that includes one weekend shift per week. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with seniors and possess excellent communication skills. A creative and compassionate approach is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents in adjusting to their new living situation
- Plan and coordinate recreational programs, including trips to art galleries, theaters, music venues, and other suitable destinations
- Help prepare and distribute the monthly calendar, newsletters, and memos to residents
- Perform planned activities in the absence of the Director of Recreation
- Maintain knowledge of resident backgrounds, hobbies, special interests, and spoken languages

Requirements
- One year of prior experience working with seniors, preferably those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia
- At least 6 months of recreation activity experience or event leadership experience
- Outgoing, warm, and genuine caring personality
- Dependable and able to supervise activities, special events, and safe excursions for residents
- Creative talents in areas such as art, music, readings, dance, etc.
- Good listening and communication skills
- Ability to lead classes and speak in front of a group setting with ease, confidence, and clarity

Salary Range
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
