Job Title: Residential Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Coordinator to join our team at ACLD. As a key member of our residential services, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to live their best lives.

In this position, you will provide structure, emotional support, and assistance with daily living activities to help individuals achieve their personal goals. Your dedication and compassion will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help residents achieve/exceed their personal goals
  • Provide structure and emotional support
  • Assist in resolving behavioral issues
  • Help people supported with personal hygiene needs
  • Complete detailed, accurate documentation
  • Transport program participants to and from medical appointments and recreation activities using Agency vehicles

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Clean, valid NYS Driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred; but will train. Cooking and light housekeeping may be required.
  • Must obtain and maintain AMAP (within six months of hire) and SCIP certifications
  • Prior experience as Caregiver, Care Assistant, Personal Assistant, Resident Assistant, Direct Care Worker, Nursing Assistant, Home Care Aide or Companion is a plus

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
