About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in driving quality improvement initiatives and advancing evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practice.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify gaps in care and develop strategies to address them.
  • Conduct unit rounds to provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality/patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • 2 years applicable experience required; 5 years preferred.
  • Previous RN educator experience and experience in Maternal Child Health are highly desirable.
