Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurse Source. As a Travel Nurse RN Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing children's injuries or conditions upon arrival at the emergency department, providing medical care for patients throughout their stay in the ER, and discharging patients once they are stabilized and educated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess children's injuries or conditions upon arrival at the emergency department
- Provide medical care for patients throughout their stay in the ER
- Discharge patients once they are stabilized and educated
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency room nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Core Mandatory Part I, Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing), and Core Mandatory Part III certifications
