Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our elite Radiology team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate, prepare, and administer correct dosages of radiopharmaceuticals during various radiological studies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including nuclear medicine scanners and cameras
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure optimal imaging results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year occupationally-specific education or an Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Three to six months of previous experience, including clinical experience
  • Valid ARRT Certification
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiation Technologist by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance
  • Annual NMTCB or CNMT certification
  • Valid CPR card
