Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Role Overview: The Site Operations Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for all contract personnel at JBPH-H and other locations. This role requires regular interaction with key stakeholders to ensure that daily operations are executed effectively, budgets are adhered to, and any arising issues are promptly addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act on behalf of other contract personnel during their absence while supporting various exercises.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all exercise requirements, managing a focused portfolio with limited travel obligations.
- Ensure presence in the office for at least 75% of the time, allocating no more than 25% to travel.
- Assist contract personnel with administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with product deadlines and updates, and reviewing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Officer to promote efficient office operations.
- Oversee compliance with performance requirements and ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations.
- Develop Individual Exercise Plans (IEPs) for assigned exercises, including detailed action plans, budget forecasts, and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Current military experience within the last 5-10 years is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in planning exercises at the USAF MAJCOM level or equivalent.
- Preferred background in aviation (Pilot/Navigator/Air Battle Manager/Aircrew Member) with experience in leading or conducting various training exercises.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance is required.
- Military officer background is preferred, with logistics experience being highly desirable.
- Experience with Air Operations Center (AOC) and/or MAJCOM/NAF Staff is preferred.
- Familiarity with operational and logistical support for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective liaison with government entities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong analytical skills are required.
