Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer the performance improvement process related to all business processes, including the production of new indicators, data collection, and dashboard updates.
  • Manage and direct strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Assist with budgeting, including obtaining quotes for capital equipment and planning for staffing needs.
  • Review monthly financial reports to identify areas for improvement and investigate discrepancies.
  • Review productivity reports and make recommendations to meet AOI targets for system laboratories.
  • Assist with system-wide standardization to maximize efficiencies.
  • Assess and promote efficient utilization of systems, personnel, and equipment.
  • Serve on departmental and interdepartmental committees, including the Lab Billing Committee, Laboratory Management and Leadership Groups, Value Analysis Team, Laboratory Budget Group, and Labor Committee.
  • Assist with billing issues, including reviewing requests for waivers and crediting of charges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • MHA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in managing clinical business operations and/or clinical supply chain preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occupational exposure is categorized as Category B.
