Collision Repair Production Manager

Job Summary:

As a key member of the Chilton Auto Body Inc team, the Collision Repair Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring labor efficiency and quality maintenance across all departments. This includes:

  • Monitoring and controlling material costs and ordering
  • Performing routine safety walks to ensure the facility is safe and up to code
  • Signing off on all fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and other monitored safety logs
  • Responding to emergencies and reporting incidents to the Location Manager and regulatory agencies as needed

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CCC1 platforms, Mitchell estimating platforms, and blueprinting vehicles. They will also be able to create, implement, and manage quality repair plans, including ECDs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate labor in all departments to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Communicate with the office administrator on concerns and issues
  • Manage and lead teams to achieve location goals and targets
  • Performance manage teammates to create a career path and professional growth

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of CCC1 and Mitchell estimating platforms
  • Ability to blueprint vehicles
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to create and implement quality repair plans
