Position Summary:
The role of contractor personnel at the United States Attorney's Office – Eastern District of Louisiana involves conducting thorough background checks, adhering to confidentiality protocols, and meeting security clearance requirements. Responsibilities include addressing performance-related issues and ensuring the return of all pertinent materials upon contract conclusion. As an Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) Investigator, you will engage in fraud investigations, collaborate with legal professionals, analyze documentation, prepare comprehensive reports, conduct interviews, and gather evidence for legal proceedings.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Experience with document review platforms such as Relativity and adept in spreadsheet analysis.
- Ability to interpret both legal and non-legal documents and develop investigative strategies independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with personnel at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing intricate information related to criminal investigations.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection methodologies.
- Expertise in conducting surveillance operations.
- Robust skills in data collection and analysis.
- Background in law enforcement practices and procedures.
- Exceptional report writing skills to document investigative findings.

Compensation: $42.89 per hour
Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week
