Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Inspir Carnegie Hill LLC. As a key member of our Integrated Care team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to our residents and supervising the care provided by our Care Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors
  • Coordinate and deliver nursing care to residents, including catheter care, wound care, dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, ostomy care, and management of medical equipment
  • Manage and administer medications, and assist residents with self-administration of medication
  • Supervise the care provided by HHAs and RCAs to residents
  • Document care and services provided to residents in the electronic health record using nursing best practices and documentation standards
  • Participate in health, wellness, and lifestyle programs, and assist with all aspects of resident care and resident experience
Requirements
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of New York
  • Minimum of two years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one year of which shall be in a home health care agency, hospital, skilled nursing facility, or community health program that included care of the sick at home
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification
  • Experience in assisted living, post-acute, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize departmental functions in order to meet due dates and deadlines

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to residents in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare providers, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
