Help Desk Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team at Marathon TS in Huntsville, AL. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document and track customer interactions and issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of applicable experience or equivalent applicable experience.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.
  • Customer support/help desk experience required or Public Safety Software experience.
  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Dispatch systems or Public Safety Software a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Windows 2016 Server, and Windows 10.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to function independently with little supervision and guidance.
  • Availability to travel as needed to customer sites.
  • Ability to work directly with customers to gather required information to resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred.
  • Familiarity with relational database structure preferred.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends to support a 24/7 help desk.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
