About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team at AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA. As a key member of the GMP Facilities Engineering group, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising facilities-related projects and maintenance activities in our ISO 5-8 biopharmaceutical manufacturing space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise critical GMP support services, including architectural and structural maintenance programs in classified and non-classified areas.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the pest control program, including coordinating internal and external resources for ad-hoc actions.
  • Maintain lists of approved products and vendors for manufacturing areas in conjunction with Suite Coordinators.
  • Transfer methods into Production instructions to enable successful performance of scheduled campaigns.
  • Schedule work tasks to support project/campaign timelines, draft diverse scope and complexity documents, and circulate documents to reviewers.
  • Direct changeover activities with assistance and exercise judgment within generally defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Track ongoing problems, gather information for analysis, and develop solutions to general-level problems.
  • Apply knowledge, experience, and technical skills to understand specific site objectives, provide support to Production initiatives, and execute systems and procedures efficiently and compliantly.
Requirements
  • Works on problems of moderate complexity, requiring evaluation of several factors.
  • Works under general supervision, following established procedures and decisions reviewed for soundness of technical judgment.
  • Coordinates activities of subgroups and provides technical direction and training to less senior personnel.
