Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Train, motivate, and coach a team of outbound staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
    • Assist in prioritizing departmental tasks and delegate work assignments to team members.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage the outbound operation to ensure that all products are shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Work with the receiving and packaging departments to ensure that all products are properly received, stored, and shipped.
    • Monitor daily productivity performance and ensure that best practices are being followed.
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure that all inventory is accurately tracked and managed.
    • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
    • Comply with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
