Job Title: Logistics Manager

At CSC-Fort Worth LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to managing the Shipping and Receiving department, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Shipping and Receiving personnel to execute inbound and outbound freight deliveries and shipments on multiple shifts.
  • Schedule and manage transportation carriers, including delivery appointments and document preparation.
  • Coordinate transportation services to optimize cost and level of service required.
  • Review and implement changes to department processes to improve cost-effective operations.
  • Support inventory management processes as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding order status, delivery notifications, and invoicing.
  • Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with departmental personnel.
  • Oversight transportation providers through quarterly business reviews.
  • Review and dispute transportation invoices as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve business inefficiencies and customer complaints.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the shipping/receiving team and develop corrective actions for metrics outside of specification.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-year degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Warehouse and Shipping.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience.
