Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Route Sales Representative to join our team at Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of New York, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing distribution of our products in your assigned sales area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers and prospective customers at their business locations to drive outside sales revenue and growth
• Develop and execute sales plans to reach volume and distribution goals
• Anticipate and address customer objections
• Provide excellent customer service and merchandising to enhance the image of our brands
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit required paperwork in a timely manner
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and two years of successful sales and/or customer contact experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Sales experience and proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel

Working Conditions:

The Route Sales Representative will work in a fast-paced office environment, primarily at customer business locations, and will be required to travel to and from customer accounts. The physical demands of this position include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds, as well as standing, walking, and driving for extended periods.
