The Event Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of banquet and meeting space arrangements. This position involves the preparation, setup, and dismantling of event areas, which includes moving furniture, stage platforms, and handling heavy items such as chairs and tables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Teardown: Responsible for the efficient preparation and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring all furniture and equipment are properly arranged and stored.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to provide assistance and maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the catering team and other staff members to ensure all event requirements are met.
Qualifications
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Able to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver heavier items, as well as operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Availability for rotating shifts and on-call duties as needed.
  • Possession of a valid health card is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
