Banquet Houseperson Job Summary

The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquet events at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel. This includes setting up, refreshing, and tearing down meeting spaces, as well as maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain meeting spaces, including tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Ensure timely and accurate setup of banquet event orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized banquet storeroom
  • Transport and store equipment and supplies
  • Refresh meeting rooms as needed
  • Notify management of any hazards or issues

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 pounds
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
