Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit during their shift. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
- Participating in the evaluation of patient care services and collaborating with management to enhance quality.
- Fostering a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and improved patient outcomes.
- Upholding a patient-first philosophy and addressing service recovery as needed.
- Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage based on patient needs.
- Overseeing inventory control and supply management.
Qualifications Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of employment.
