Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit during their shift. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
  • Participating in the evaluation of patient care services and collaborating with management to enhance quality.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and improved patient outcomes.
  • Upholding a patient-first philosophy and addressing service recovery as needed.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
  • Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage based on patient needs.
  • Overseeing inventory control and supply management.

Qualifications Required

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of employment.
