Job Summary

The Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a key member of the healthcare team at St. David's Medical Center, responsible for coordinating and supervising the planning and implementation of endoscopy services. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of patient care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of endoscopy services
  • Lead customer service initiatives and maintain a positive patient experience
  • Direct optimal unit operations and review staff schedules
  • Evaluate performance of staff on an ongoing basis and provide feedback
  • Assist in delivering direct patient care and carry a patient assignment as needed
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association in accordance to SDH policy
  • Two years experience in Endoscopy nursing
  • Supervisory or Charge RN experience preferred
