The Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a key member of the healthcare team at St. David's Medical Center, responsible for coordinating and supervising the planning and implementation of endoscopy services. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of patient care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of endoscopy services
- Lead customer service initiatives and maintain a positive patient experience
- Direct optimal unit operations and review staff schedules
- Evaluate performance of staff on an ongoing basis and provide feedback
- Assist in delivering direct patient care and carry a patient assignment as needed
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- Registered Nurse license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association in accordance to SDH policy
- Two years experience in Endoscopy nursing
- Supervisory or Charge RN experience preferred
St. David's Medical Center is a full-service hospital located in central Austin, Texas. This 300+ bed facility features a 24-hour emergency department, the region's largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the internationally-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute. The full scope of services provided at St. David's Medical Center includes cancer care, heart and vascular care, imaging services, joint replacement and orthopedics, women's services, complex surgical services, and a Bariatric Surgery Center.
