CFO/Director of Operations of Family Office

The CFO/Director of Operations at Vaco is a key leadership role, responsible for providing daily direction to business staff, managing financial operations, and executing projects assigned by the CEO. This role requires a candidate capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting and financial reporting processes
  • Review and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
  • Assist in the development of financial statements and reports
  • Establish and coordinate all accounting procedures for the business unit
  • Investigate significant trends and variances in financial data
  • Manage AP, AR, Payroll, Tax functions, as well as Cost and Inventory Accounting
  • Assist in the formulation of the budget and prepare the monthly budget variance analyses
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
  • Family office experience preferred
  • Experience with Quickbooks preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to remaining on and successfully completing projects as assigned
