Job Title: Family Office CPA

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to manage the financial affairs of an ultra-high-net-worth family based in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial activities for three related families, ensuring all financial records, transactions, and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Tax Planning & Compliance: Prepare and manage tax returns for all family members and related entities, developing tax strategies to optimize the family's financial position.
  • Real Estate & Investment Management: Assist in closing real estate deals and managing the family's investment portfolio, providing strategic advice and financial insights to support investment decisions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Ensure all bills are paid on time, car insurance policies are maintained, and any other financial matters are managed efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • CPA Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant in good standing.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a CPA firm, particularly in tax accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals or family offices.
  • Tax Expertise: Strong knowledge of tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex financial portfolios and real estate transactions with accuracy and diligence.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with family members and external advisors.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000, with the opportunity for significant raises based on performance and completion of tasks.
  • Performance Bonus: A bonus incentive plan will be offered, tied to the timely and successful completion of responsibilities.
