Timberline Construction Corporation is actively seeking experienced Senior Superintendents to oversee projects across various locations. Our firm is recognized for its expertise in managing complex science and technology, corporate, commercial, academic, and institutional construction projects, particularly those involving renovations in occupied environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop comprehensive project schedules.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractor foremen to discuss work completion requirements and address any issues, including manpower needs and inspection sequences.
  • Implement and monitor project schedules, promptly informing the management team of any performance issues while proactively identifying potential challenges.
  • Provide daily reports detailing manpower counts, weather conditions, completed activities, and material deliveries.
  • Oversee the Company Safety program as outlined in the safety manual, ensuring compliance and reporting any incidents as necessary.
  • Ensure all subcontractors adhere to jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Initiate Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify plans, specifications, and any missing or incorrect details.
  • Coordinate timely material deliveries and subcontractor arrivals to maintain project schedules.
  • Resolve issues efficiently and make informed decisions while taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Manage all inspection scheduling with local and state authorities.
  • Ensure quality control by monitoring work compliance with construction documents and project specifications.
  • Encourage optimal performance among team members and subcontractors.
  • Order and verify the quality and quantity of materials and supplies.
  • Delegate tasks to subordinates while being accountable for their performance.
  • Exhibit integrity and professionalism, maintaining a polished appearance and fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with client subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain organized project files, including work scopes, submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings.
  • Actively pursue the completion of project punch lists, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and subcontractors to manage utility relocations and new service requirements effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction management.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Decisive and capable of performing well under pressure.
  • Proficient in coordinating multiple activities while resolving specific issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and crew members.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing projects and resources.
  • Availability to respond to site emergencies and delays.
  • 10-hour OSHA training required; 30-hour preferred.
  • Possession of a Construction Supervisor's license.
