Position Overview:

Are you the Chief Education Officer we are seeking? In this role, you will share your enthusiasm for empowering individuals with a vibrant team, fostering a positive and energetic environment while engaging with our students.

Justice Resource Institute operates a residential treatment facility for school-aged children, focusing on trauma-informed care. We provide comprehensive support around the clock, including an on-site educational program, a full clinical team, nursing personnel, and direct care staff.

JRI Offers Comprehensive Training So That:

  • YOU will manage Glenhaven's educational division, including hiring, supervising, collaborative teaching as part of oversight, evaluation, training, curriculum development, technology integration, IEP formulation, and the establishment and management of related systems to facilitate these responsibilities.
  • YOU will collaborate closely with Glenhaven's Clinical, Nursing, Residential, and Administrative teams to ensure a unified vision of supportive and enriching programmatic services, while maintaining constructive relationships with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
  • YOU will provide leadership as a meeting facilitator, public school representative, and in various other capacities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline is required.
  • MA DESE license in Moderate Disabilities for grades 5-12 is mandatory.
  • A MA DESE Special Education Administrator license is essential.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity within an administrative or leadership role is necessary.
  • Experience in a residential or group home setting is highly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
