Patient Care Supervisor

At Fairview Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Supervisor to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.
About the ICU at Southdale HospitalWe are a 23-bed unit with an average daily census of 20-21 patients. Our team of 90 FTEs and 130 employees work together to provide high-quality patient care. We have 24/7 intensivist coverage and approximately half of our RN staff has acquired an advanced certification in Critical Care Nursing.
Responsibilities- Partner with the Manager/Director to supervise and lead day-to-day or shift-to-shift operations to ensure support of the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization.
- Assist with human resources management to achieve quality service and positive employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Advocate for patient, family, and staff needs.
- Drive improvement activities that promote patient-centered care and positive customer experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN) or Master's degree in nursing or healthcare.
- Two years of nursing experience, at least one of which in a formal or informal leadership role.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain Minnesota nursing license at time of hire.
- BLS certification.
