At Fairview Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Patient Care to join our team at the Vascular Center in Edina. This is a full-time position approved for 80 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible.
Job Summary:The Supervisor Patient Care will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Southdale Vascular Center, Southdale Vein Center, Southdale Wound Center, and Maple Grove Vein Center. This role will provide professional nursing care for clinic patients, support quality patient and family-centered care principles, and perform high-level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families.
Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, coordinate, and provide professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting.
- Deliver care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic, while following established standards and protocols.
- Educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical documentation for each patient, and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
- Manage the operations of designated staff, both clinical and non-clinical, and provide workflow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- 1-2 years working as a RN in a clinic setting.
- Current MN RN License.
- BLS certification.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- 5 years or more of nursing experience.
- High standard of creative prioritization skills and priority setting.
- Shown focus on customer service/patients with every interaction.
- Excellent public relations and interpersonal/communication skills.
- Work as an effective team member to deliver outstanding care.
- Ability to use appropriate computer applications.
- Capable of working independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Ability to accept change and encourage those around you to engage in ongoing process improvement.
- An understanding of Dignity, Integrity, Service, Compassion, and Innovation.
