About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Assistant to join our team at Sedgwick. As a Claims Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our claims staff and performing various office tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and enter new claims into our claims management system.
  • Input and review notes/diaries in the claims management system as instructed.
  • Process payments and handle mail, filing, faxing, and photocopying.
  • Review, prepare, create, and send letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answer and initiate telephone calls, set up medical appointments, and provide customer service as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including the preparation and distribution of computer reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
