Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: We are in search of a qualified Mechanical Engineer who possesses a strong interest in or background in project oversight. The ideal candidate will be responsible for steering projects from the initial phase through to completion, leading a small team of 2-3 professionals. These projects will focus on mechanical design for a variety of structures, including educational institutions, correctional facilities, and public libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project meetings and discussions.
  • Compile and prepare construction documentation.
  • Address Requests for Information (RFIs) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.

Essential Qualifications:

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in mechanical design for buildings.
  • Familiarity with Revit software is preferred.
  • Experience in project management is essential.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques.

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment: This position requires full-time on-site engagement.
