Collateral Specialist I Job Description

At Stellantis Financial Services US, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collateral Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our collateral management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our collateral management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of collateral documents, including receipt and transfer to the custodian.
  • Act as a liaison between SFS departments, partners, vendors, and dealers to ensure timely resolution of collateral exceptions and other issues.
  • Work with electronic files and documents provided by vendors, partners, banks, and affiliates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare reports for various business units and stakeholders, including production statistics and collateral status updates.
  • Escalate unresolved collateral and titling issues to management for further action.
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and faxing documents.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to two years of experience in collateral management or a related field preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required; experience with MS Office and other software applications a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
