Job Summary

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Late Night Staff member to support our after-hours youth programs. As a key member of our team, you will provide a positive environment for teens to participate in various activities, including open gym, workout equipment, basketball, swimming, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Execution: Plan, lead, and assist participants in skill development, game play, and social interaction.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Commit to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Activity Development: Create lesson plans for a variety of teen-appropriate activities.
  • Program Quality Assurance: Implement and ensure program quality through best practices and ongoing evaluation.
  • Safety and Supervision: Provide safety and supervision for all Late Night participants.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: Minimum 21 years of age; high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Six months or more of related experience preferred.
  • Skills and Certifications: Ability to provide guidance and be a role model for youth; CPR, First Aid, AED certifications preferred.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training and other required training.
