Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Clover Park School District. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving food to elementary school students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of food items such as pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, main entrees, fruits, vegetables, salads, and condiments.
  • Assemble and replenish food stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards of facility and equipment.
  • Assist in wiping lunchroom tables after each lunch period.
  • Wash service pans and utensils.
  • Serve as lead associate in the absence of the Food Service Worker Lead.
Requirements
  • One year of food service or related work experience or 90 days as a Food Service Substitute.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions and work at a moderately fast pace.
  • Ability to communicate in a cordial manner with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work continuously at a moderate to fast pace.
  • Ability to fill the lead position when necessary.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
