The Director of Nursing - Private Duty will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of administrative policies and procedures for the assigned agencies and registries. This role will oversee the provision of patient care, ensure quality standards are maintained, and federal and state regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide expert guidance and assistance to Agency staff in all matters relating to the delivery of home health services.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services for the assigned agencies.
- Financial Management: Develop and maintain sound administrative policies and management activities, including budget control, cost determination, fee setting, and collection.
- Staff Management: Employ, contract, recruit, manage, and directly qualify personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the Agency or Registry.
- Quality Assurance: Direct and monitor organizational Performance Improvement activities, and participate in the review, analysis, and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total Private Duty program.
- Public Relations: Establish a public relations program, ensuring the accuracy of information materials and activities, for interpretation of the Private Duty services and foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
- Education: MSN preferred
- Experience: Home Health Care, Case Management
- Certifications: FL RN, CPR
