Job SummaryAs a key member of The Children's Community Programs of Connecticut, the Clinical Director will oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of services delivered to referred children and families. This includes managing multiple functions, such as recruitment, retention, matching, and clinical services, to ensure the successful implementation and compliance of FFT FC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple functions to support the FFT FC model.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are in place to support the implementation and compliance of FFT FC standards.
  • Oversight of Clinical Supervisors and staffing recruitment to ensure a high-functioning team.
  • Manage recruitment and retention plan to ensure families are trained and supported in the FFT FC model.
  • Oversight of staff performance and evaluation to ensure compliance with FFT FC standards.
  • Overall support of children in foster care with appropriate match to foster parents.
  • Oversight of shifts in practice, including critical thinking and decision-making using the FFT FC lens.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and communication with DCF regional offices.
  • Provide consultation to clinical supervisors, therapists, and family support specialists using FFT principles.

Requirements:

This position requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related Behavioral Health field of study. The Clinical Director must be Licensed in their field of study and have at least 5 years prior direct experience providing clinical services to children and families, as well as previous clinical supervision experience.
