We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Med Technologist II to join our team at St. Luke's Health-Memorial. This role requires advanced technical and clinical knowledge of nuclear medicine technology, with a focus on providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic information.
Key Responsibilities- Independently perform nuclear medicine procedures as defined by departmental protocols
- Comply with regulatory requirements and provide accurate patient assessment and preparation
- Work cooperatively with healthcare providers to deliver timely and effective diagnostic and therapeutic information
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including precepting new employees and students, and modeling professional behavior
- Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N)
- Certified by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Three years of experience in nuclear medicine
This is a weekday position only, with no weekends, call, or holidays.
